Natalie Rhea
Natalie Rhea is a senior at Riddle High School this year. She is not only receiving her high school diploma this year, but she will also be receiving a college degree.
Most seniors are busy enough just keeping up in their high school classes. Natalie found time to complete high school work, work at a job, complete a college degree, as well as other activities in which she is involved.
Natalie completed her Associated Degree in Pre-Nursing. This degree is very useful to her since she plans on being a nurse.
This summer Natalie will be taking CNA II courses. She will then complete her RN training in 2018. After this she will attend medical school for 18 months to become a Nurse Practitioner specializing in trauma patients.
Riddle High School would like to congratulate Natalie on all of her hard work, and wish her the best of luck in the future.
Table Setting
By Kristen Harp
I am in a small 4 –H group called crafty critters. I competed in many things this fair and I did pretty well. I got quite a few first places which I'm super happy I got. This year though was my best year for table setting. This is my 3rd year competing in this. I think I've gotten 1st place every year. This year I did way better than first place. I did a Paris theme and I got Grand Champion, Champion, 1st place and state fair selected.
So, I went to state fair. It is much larger than our fair here in Douglas county. It was very hard. I didn’t know all the questions but it's my first year. If I go again I will know the questions and hopefully do better than before. Overall though I think I did very well by getting a 2nd place in our state fair. I also competed in cake decoration and I got a first place on that in our state fair. It was a very fun and informational trip if nothing else.

Leadership Class Community 101 Event
On Thursday May 17th the leadership class held their annual Community 101 check presentation ceremony. This year the class gave out $5,000 to Riddle High School staff and to non-profit organizations.
The work of the non-profit organizations had to meet the mission statement that the leadership class created for our Community 101 project. Our mission statement this year dealt with helping victims of violent crime and victims of child abuse.
The leadership class gave money to five nonprofit organizations and five Riddle High School teachers.
